Grow local leadership, not the federal bureaucracy
Defend our freedom to choose

Survey
Independent voters need to be heard
and respected by both political parties.
Visitors to this website are encouraged to respond to the simple survey
below. Replies are private.
It should only take a minute or two to complete the 10 basic questions.
The interests of SurgeUSA visitors guide
the voluntary investment of considerable time and effort in research,
analysis, and editorial work to share more useful information, tools,
and links with visitors. This visitor research also guides
marketing work to reach more relevant visitors.
The focus is to empower independent voters who believe
in the traditional American principles and values, such as respect for
the Constitution and a more limited role for
government in our lives.
This
Survey is similar to the ICED Tea Voter Survey
which local Tea Party groups are encouraged to use as an introductory
tool to better understand the concerns of independent voters in their
areas.
We the people ... The
opening words of the U.S. Constitution reflect the expectation that
individual voters will take responsibility for maintaining the liberty
protected so carefully for over two centuries by that innovative
document and generations of American patriots. You are the
leaders of America.
If
you prefer, you can download a PDF copy of this Survey and mail
it to the address on the form, or
e-mail your response to the 10 Survey questions if you wish to
elaborate on your answers or share other information, such as about Tea
Party groups or other resources for voters which may not yet have come
to our attention. Please specify your state and Congressional
district in your reply since this helps to identify which elections and
local organizations or news may be of interest to visitors.
This survey is of visitors to SurgeUSA.org who are
supportive of our research work, and want to help make it more
responsive to the interests of our visitors. We serve independent
and conservative voters who favor limited government and traditional
American principles and values. If you do not, then there are
other websites which should be more relevant to your interests, so
please skip this Survey.
Abusive and insulting
responses are simply discarded. The focus here is on how to
empower more independent voters by providing useful information,
research tools, and links to serve their interests.

Thank you for your consideration and

Individual Survey responses are private.
We may periodically publish a composite analysis of Survey responses,
such as to summarize the reported concerns and election interests of our

Survey responses to represent a significant sample of our recent
website visitors, we may report our
composite data analysis such as:
Distribution pattern

1. Percentage who report voting :
___ in every election ___ often ___ rarely
2. Percentage who plan to vote in their

Communication practices
If an email address
is specified above, SurgeUSA may sometimes send messages which are
expected to be of interest to the individual visitor according to the
above personal Survey responses.
There are no plans to do scheduled email broadcasts
(newsletters) or group broadcasts, although there may be very targeted
emails. For example, some political developments may be of special
interest to voters in a particular state or Congressional district, in
which case a brief message might be sent to those specific visitors.
There are no plans to do sponsored promotional broadcasts to all or
targeted visitors, nor will the e-mail addresses be provided to third
parties for such purposes.
We may sometimes broadcast information about events
such as nationwide Tea Party rallies or special events such as the
National Tea Party Convention if we
think it may interest prior visitors.
If this is of concern, please don't provide your email
above, or send an "opt
out" reply to be removed.
Future SurgeUSA Visitor Surveys
Future
surveys are not planned at this time. Simple ones may be
developed, however, to quickly and privately poll by email those
visitors who have previously agreed to participate, as confirmed above.
Unlike the visitor survey above, which serves to
better understand our audience in general, such surveys would typically
focus on just one or two very timely issues. A simple email would
provide the link to a short survey response form.
For example, as major political issues emerge, or as
specific elections or major Tea Party events approach, it may be helpful
to quickly consult a relevant sample of visitors about their point of
view. This is not intended to be opinion polling research for
publication, such as
Rasmussen or others perform. Instead, it would continue to
guide the investment of research time, effort and resources according to
the evolving political interests of our visitors.
The
inclusion of any website links on this site does not reflect any endorsement
of their content, or vice versa. This information is just shared
openly for the convenient reference of our visitors.
