| Some
political lives are simply not worth saving. We need to pull the
plug in the next election. The voters of each
state and Congressional district have to make their own choices in that
regard. There are 15 Democratic US Senators up for election in
2010, and 23 more in 2012,
as listed
below. Which politicians have to get
voted out of office for the "greater good" of our country and those who
they represent? We have to organize as political primary "death
panels" to end their careers now. It's time to send a "dead fish"
message to every Democrat in the House and Senate in their primaries.
That's the Chicago way.
What are you prepared to do? These are local
decisions, but their combined impact can limit the abuse of federal
power over us. It's not that all Democrats in the Senate or House
are evil or wrong. The problem is that, as a group, they are
abusing their power to destroy our tradition of limited government.
They have their "nuclear option" now to destroy our country. We
have to be ready for nuclear retaliation - to vote them all out of
office. |

Congressional primary schedule for preliminary reference (2010 may not
be the same as 2008)

Primary elections - your next chance to pull the plug on specious

already to replace US Senator Ted Kennedy. The special election
to replace him is January 19. Scott

Take action -

about taking the country back at the grassroots level by helping to
select and turn out the vote for better candidates. For more
information, refer to
The

All the Tea Party rallies, petitions, and online networking to share
information and organize locally have been helpful to attract public
attention to harmful national policies and to limit the damage, but at
the end of the day it is the next election results through effectively
organized party work at the local level which will determine the
outcome. Do it today. Deadlines are approaching. There
are many local vacancies in such volunteer positions.

Work to replace US Senators nationwide
- primary by primary, month by month, in 2010 |
| 15
Democratic Senators are up for election in 2010. Some appear
to have "safe" seats, but as shown in the recent New Jersey election, we
need strong candidates to run against ALL of them.
18 Republican Senators are up for election in 2010.
We need to hold those seats - even if not necessarily with the
incumbents. Once again, some may appear to be "safe", but there
will be some primary fights and challengers in the general election, so
we need to focus on the challenge of picking up as many of the 15
Democratic seats as possible, without losing the 18 Republican seats, so
that the "balance of power" shifts decisively from a Democratic
"supermajority" to minority status. |
| 23
Democratic Senators are up for election in 2012. That is
enough to open up the potential for a Republican "supermajority" to
block filibusters or vetoes and roll back harmful legislation.
It is also important to defend the independence of the Supreme Court to
protect our Constitution. Other vacancies are
possible in addition to the usual schedule, such as resignations. |
|
Target House races
nationwide, too - primary by primary, month by month, in 2010 |
| More
on this later. The same logic applies, but there are far more
races, so targeting is important. Democrats hold 258 of 435 US
House seats, so we need to pick up more than 40 seats nationwide to
shift the "balance of power". Estimates vary as to how many races
will be "competitive" in 2010, but that means little at this stage.
They will only be competitive if we do the hard campaign work to win.
We aren't aiming for 40 seats in this fight. We're
fighting to win the majority again, not to stalemate or lose again.
We need to target 100+ seats so that there will be no "safe" seats in
any district where Republicans have any plausible chance of victory.
All 258 Democrats who have voted for harmful legislation this year
should face strong local opposition so that Democratic resources will be
tied up and spread thin on defense, rather than targeting against any
weak Republicans. |
|
We can't leave them drunk with power,
driving our economy and lives into a total wreck. |
|
Some politicians are demonstrably doing harm to the traditional
American principles and values on which this country was based, such as
the concept of a limited role for federal government.
Others are simply perceived to be contributing little or no redeeming
social value to the future prosperity of this country through their
actions in office. Voters need to make tough choices, as when
George Washington warned in his
farewell address of 1796 about the dangers of party politics.
We can't just leave them in office until they harm us further or die.
The liberal insurgents are destroying our country. No more
"political correctness". We can show tolerance of moderates after
the radicals are defeated. They are acting as tyrants, so we need
to vote them out of power ASAP.
We
have to take away the keys to their offices before these "public
servants" drive our
country into a total wreck by willful blindness to the risks of their
actions. Regardless of any good intentions, or how nice they
may seem to be personally, some are demonstrably a threat behind the
wheel of a large and increasingly powerful government. We need to
be responsible and stop them before they harm us or others. They
are drunk with their own illusory power, and are recklessly driving our
country to ruin. |
| This
doesn't mean that these politicians have never done anything of any
redeeming social value in their political careers. Their political
obituaries can praise all of the accomplishments of their lives.
Just as they may think that it is appropriate for
government bureaucrats and politicians to make life or death choices and
quality of life and cost choices in our personal and family health care,
we need to make tough end-of-career choices about when their political
lives are no longer worth prolonging.
Their political party can provide long-term care or
hospice care as their political lives come to an inevitable end.
We just have to pull the plug on their power to do continued harm to our
country, regardless of any alleged good intentions or good things which
they may have done in the past. Some seem to be
political Alzheimer's cases - they have clearly forgotten our history
and what really works. They are now becoming a danger to
themselves and to others, even if they just seem to be confused and
harmless. Regardless of good intentions or an honorable past, they
can't lead us now. |
| This
is the solemn responsibility of American voters under our Constitution.
The founders trusted that we would inform ourselves and vote responsibly
to replace politicians before they do irreparable harm, or to simply
find others who will better represent our interests and better respect
our Constitution. |
| The
2010 and 2012 election cycles are an opportunity by voters to develop
their own "political health care" system and political "death panels",
such as through the Tea Party movement. We need to find better
candidates, and actively support them. We need to pull the plug on
many incumbents. They have demonstrated by their actions that it
is no longer safe for us to prolong their political careers. |
|
Which politicians deserve to be voted
out of office at the first opportunity to do so? |
Many factors may contribute to end-of-political-life
choices by voters:
 | Who voted for the "Stimulus" bill?
Know their names.
Will they do it again? |
 | Who voted to expand spending in the "Omnibus"
budget bill? Will they do it again? |
 | Who voted for "Cap
and Trade" legislation? Are they still pushing this
agenda |
 | Who voted for "health
care reform" legislation? Did they even listen to
objections? |
 | Who is insulting independent voters and
refusing to listen to them? |
 | Who is representing special interest groups or
their party, instead of their constituents? |
|
|
Recommendations - based on SurgeUSA
editorial research and Tea Party feedback |
|
Individual voters must inform themselves and make their own choices on
end-of-political-life decisions. |
| The
recommendations shared below are opinions - just like independent
"expert" panels of distant unaccountable bureaucrats. They would
allegedly look after our health care and end-of-life interests in a
benevolent and caring way, including decisions about how to tax us and
spend our money for our own benefit and the general welfare of the
country. We will be similarly sympathetic through end of
political career choices as we move to limit our shared tax burden and
keep more of our own money. |
| More
recommendations will be shared here for the 2010 election, starting with
primary candidates. We welcome
feedback from state and local Tea Party groups about candidate
recommendations, as well as feedback from
local Republican Party officials who personally know the
candidates, such as precinct committeemen or township or county
chairmen, even if the party is not making any official endorsement
(since RNC Rule 11 restricts national intervention in state or local primary
races). |
