see this video of Joe Walsh

There are several good Republican primary challengers, but please share our focus on Joe Walsh.  We need to unite to defeat Melissa Bean in 2010 by getting well-organized now - not in fall 2010.  The CQ Politics profile for IL 8th does not yet recognize all of the candidates.  Based on past mid-term elections in IL 8th, Joe Walsh probably needs 100,000+ votes to win the November election, but far less in the primary.  Get your friends out to support his campaign.
Melissa Bean will not face a Democratic Party primary challenger - the petition of Jonathan Farnick was successfully challenged to remove him from the ballot,  There is still a  Green Party challenger, Bill Scheurer.  Both have previously tried to run against her, and lost.
