Voting by Mail available to all voters - This information is
provided by the Lake County Clerk, but check with your own county
because the same process applies elsewhere in Illinois. In
addition to the
early voting process, you can arrange to vote by mail - which is
not limited to "absentee" voting. Suburban Cook County -
see
absentee voting information.
McHenry County Keep this option in mind for the November
election. Encourage your friends to sign up to vote by mail in
advance.
The
purpose of this tool is to empower Illinois conservative voters to more
easily research any topic or political candidate or incumbent in

ABC 7 News Chicago video about the 8th
Congressional District GOP candidates
ABC 7 New Chicago highlights from their
televised debate of the Republican candidates for U.S. Senate, where
only Patrick Hughes, John Arrington, and Andy Martin showed up.
Mark Kirk declined to appear to defend his
liberal voting record. Judge Don Lowery had a prior
commitment downstate. For the full debate,
follow this link (the video below just has clips as in the news
broadcast).
Note
that some candidates may have personal blog sites or content which is
shared through Facebook pages, Twitter, or other social networking
platforms. Such content is beyond the scope of this search tool.
For such links, refer directly to the website of the incumbent or
candidate of interest.
When
using Facebook, Twitter, or other social networking tools, keep in mind
that some people may post information which is false or misleading to
discredit candidates who they oppose, including pages which purport to
belong to a candidate campaign or which use similar names to fool the
unwary.
Similarly, photos and videos can be
edited to create false impressions, and some fundraising links may not
actually go to the candidate as expected. The potential for
"phishing" for financial or identity theft fraud during political
campaigns is a serious risk, in addition to the risk of malicious
efforts to spam "fans" of a particular candidate with false messages.
The
inclusion of any website links on this site does not reflect any endorsement
of their content, or vice versa. This information is just shared
openly for the convenient reference of our visitors.
